    • Child: Anyone under 18
    • Vulnerable adult: Over 18 and may need care or protection due to disability, illness or age

    Roles and Responsibilities
    • DSL: Manages safeguarding and referrals
    • Deputy DSL: Acts in the DSL's absence
    • Trustees: Ensure governance
    • All staff: Understand and follow policy
